After a contest of strength with Pope Pari, the protagonist Percy won Pari's approval. Pari hoped Percy would succeed him as Pope, but Percy declined, deciding first to search for his origins. Guided by the Pope, Percy arrived in Crow Territory, rescued his sister, and reached the Cohen family. The Cohen family was being invaded by the Ross family. At the critical moment, Percy's mother told him the truth about his origins and urged him to flee. Moved, Percy defeated the invading Brienne and his daughter Fiona, and also encountered Mia of the Outflow Church, who had been searching for him.Brienne and his daughter were rescued by the fallen mage Cru and subjected to evil transformations. While escorting Mia back, Percy came upon mages besieging the transformed Fiona, now an evil dragon, and intervened to defeat the dragon. Cru extracted the dragon bloodline from Brienne and infused it into Fiona, triggering her second evolution into an even more powerful evil dragon. She defeated Percy and tried to kill him. Mia risked her life to save Percy, but was gravely wounded and near death. Percy awakened the Sun God’s blessing, healed Mia, transformed into a seraph, and slew Fiona. Cru fled in resentment. After returning Mia to the Church, Percy once again refused the papacy and chose to hunt down Cru.
