Kyle’s family has a mysterious circus, but his father, Marcus, never lets him go inside, which leaves Kyle intensely curious about what’s in there. After Kyle asks again and again, Marcus says he can enter only if he brings a girlfriend home. But in the days that follow, every girlfriend Kyle brings home mysteriously disappears. Kyle refuses to give up and tries every way he can to get into the circus, but each time he comes just one step short—and Marcus sees it all. In the end, Marcus agrees to take Kyle inside. Only then does Kyle learn that the so-called circus is actually a secret organization dedicated to dealing with aliens and supernatural forces—and eventually, Kyle becomes a member himself.
