In the Northern Sea, two schools coexist—the sacred covenant of equal human-dragon bonds and the corrupt art that enslaves dragons. Four-time champion Kaelen was betrayed by his junior Lovell and the Elder Council; his Moonlight Spirit Dragon Frost shattered into pieces, and Kaelen fell. His remnant soul was reborn as Ailan, a "cursed" outcast boy, who swore to gather the fragments, seek revenge, and restore order.
