Love Has A Deadline

Five years ago, introverted and awkward Ben avoided commitment and broke up with Nora, the woman he loved, on a rain-soaked graduation night. Five years later, he is a cynical star advertising copywriter. While leading the campaign for Re:Text, an app designed to reunite exes, he unexpectedly crosses paths with Nora, now an art director. One unguarded confession gives Ben the power to travel back in time: whenever he voices his truest feelings, his consciousness is thrown into his younger body, giving him another chance to rewrite their love story. Determined to win Nora back, Ben uses his adult dating experience to keep interfering with the past, only to find himself fighting his earnest, timid younger self for control of the same body. Each clever fix makes things worse, triggering mismatched dates, apparent split personalities, a disastrous proposal, and other absurd calamities. The butterfly effect keeps rewriting both their memories and their present. Meanwhile, present-day Ben and Nora are forced into a ""fake dating"" contract. As they complete one couple's challenge after another, old feelings return - and the misunderstanding and secret behind their breakup slowly come to light. Just as Nora is finally willing to meet the real Ben again, his declaration ""I love you"" triggers another temporal shockwave. In the new reality, the Re:Text project never existed, and Nora has vanished from everyone's memory. Faced with a timeline he destroyed with his own choices, Ben must find her, recover the past they shared, and finally understand that love is not choosing the ""right"" future for someone else. It is having the courage, even in the face of truth and regret, to choose together.
