The Wolf King Knelt Before Me

After the White Oak Pack is defeated, Julian forcibly breaks his mate bond with his wife, Sera, in order to protect his pregnant mistress, Vanessa. What Julian does not know is that the supposedly brutal and bloodthirsty northern king is actually Nain, the enslaved wolf Sera rescued from an underground fighting pit seven years earlier. Using the Hawthorne family’s trade routes and financial ledgers, Sera cuts off the royal court’s supplies and publicly exposes corruption in the military payroll, causing both White Oak clans and soldiers to defect one after another. In the end, Sera secures authorization from the Council of Twelve Clans and joins forces with the city guard to storm the White Oak capital. Richard, Julian, and the others are brought to public trial. Sera is then chosen as the Supreme Wolf Queen who rules over all twelve clans. She voluntarily dissolves the master-servant blood pact binding Ronan to her and forms an equal mate bond with him instead.
