When the Rose Rain Falls, You Are Too Late

Elena marries New York tycoon Adrian, but his childhood sweetheart Sophie returns and drags her into hell. Sophie frames her with poisoning, fake surveillance, a matching nightgown, and a sweater made from Lily's yarn. Adrian believes Sophie, whips Elena, locks her up, forces her to kneel, and poisons her until she miscarries. He even uses their daughter Lily to force a fake remarriage. When Lily nearly dies from fever in the punishment room, Adrian stays with Sophie and refuses help. Elena secretly contacts Edward, Adrian's rival, escapes, and exposes everything in a live stream. The Hale Group collapses; Adrian is cast out, and Sophie goes mad. With Edward's love, Elena paints again, holds a "Walking Out of Darkness" exhibition, and marries him. In the end, as Lily's finger moves, sunlight returns to their new family.
