After Seven Years of Trials, I Married the Wolf King - Episode 27

Introduction: Odette undergoes seven years of trials to become the mate of Damian, heir to Black Pine. During the final trial, Damian knows that the man who stayed with her at the inn was actually himself, yet he still denies it, allowing Odette to be silenced and punished. As a result, she loses the child she had not yet had the chance to tell him about. While recovering, she discovers that her friend Peggy has been excused from every remaining trial, while Odette herself is still being controlled through her inheritance and living expenses. At the ceremony, Odette publicly breaks off the engagement, and Kasper, the Wolf King of Frost Ridge, answers her call for help and takes her away. After leaving, she reclaims the belongings left by her parents, refuses to trade reconciliation for access to her inheritance, and works with Kasper to escort witnesses who are being threatened. Through their time together, the two gradually build trust and choose to grow closer. After Damian pushes Peggy forward to take the blame, Peggy hands over the orders she secretly kept to protect herself, though she still faces consequences for her part in the property seizure. Damian then tries to destroy the old records, but Odette and the others stop him on the spot and uncover the truth: for six years, Damian had deliberately overturned assessments that had actually declared her qualified. Odette regains her estate and clears her name. She also speaks openly with Kasper about the uncertainty of having children and what it would mean to build a life together. Before their formal mating bond, she publicly rejects Damian’s final attempt to win her back and willingly exchanges mate marks with Kasper. In the end, everyone responsible for seizing her property, manipulating the trials, and wrongfully punishing her faces the consequences. Odette is left with an estate of her own—and a partner who truly respects her.
