My tenant is an Amnesia chaebol - Episode 2

Introduction: At thirty, Chloe has just been laid off by a big tech company, with only double digits left in her bank account and crushing mortgage, her grandmother's care bills, and medical costs. On a train home, she meets Alex, a stranger with a gunshot wound, hunted by bodyguards in black. He offers her $500,000 to save his life. Desperate, she agrees, poses as his drunk girlfriend to fool the search party, jumps with him from the speeding train into the rainy night, and drags him back to her grandmother's farm. She spends all her severance and family heirlooms on an old veterinarian to remove the bullet and expensive antibiotics to keep him alive. Meanwhile, local thug Brad closes in with a forged property-tax mortgage, freezes her accounts, and threatens to bulldoze the farm. Just as Chloe waits for her "payday" to deliver the $500,000, Alex wakes with blank eyes and asks, "Who am I?"—an amnesiac tycoon who leaves her with neither the promised money nor a way out.
