As chaos broke out near the river, my mother secretly left me on a piece of driftwood floating on the water. My crying caught the attention of the winning side. They walked over with their guns raised, and one of them pressed a pistol right against my forehead.“Why don't we adopt him?”Since then, I have 109 sisters in my family. At home, I'm the bratty ruler. But in school, things were not so good.Giovanni Rossi, a rich student, has me cornered in the washroom with his lackeys flanking him."You're just a low-income student, so why are you still putting on airs around us? Polluting the air has consequences!"Since the beating I've received is far too brutal, I grab Giovanni and roll down the stairs with him. When I woke up, Marcella Greco, Dean of Students, berated me angrily.“All Giovanni did was beat you up. When someone talks trash and puts their hands on you, you ought to be asking what you did wrong. How dare you plot revenge against him instead!”“Summon your guardian here right away,or forget about leaving!” All of my hair stands on end as soon as I hear the command. My guardians—109 sisters—none of them are ordinary people, and I've been leading a normal life for more than a dozen years in order not to cause them any trouble. But if trouble shows up at my door, then I can't help it.“Are you sure you want to meet my guardians, Ms. Greco?”

I vowed to transfer schools with my childhood friend when he claimed he was being bullied. But the day before we were to finalize the transfer, he backed out. His friend teased him. "Man, you faked being a punching bag just to get rid of Alice Wiley? That's cold. You two have been thick as thieves since forever. Are you really cool with her going to a new school alone?" Shane Page brushed it off. "It's just another high school across town. Not a big deal. I'm tired of her always being up my ass. This works out perfectly." I stood frozen outside the door for a long time. Finally, I turned and walked away. On the transfer form, I crossed out Oatheport High and filled in the international academy my parents had been pushing for. Everyone seemed to forget that Shane and I were never equals.
