Milo Reed is reborn to the day when Elena Stone broke off their engagement and Jace Zeller humiliated him. This time, however, he awakens the Goddess System. With its help, he easily subdues Jace and the guards, turning Elena's opinion in his favor. Through the system, he obtains a $50-million black card and solves Elena's financial crisis. Now in need of his help, Elena's attitude softens as circumstances shift. In the end, Milo makes full use of the system and begins his rise to the top.

The apocalypse arrives. Zombie hordes swallow cities, and starvation does the rest. Veteran soldier Leon Reed activates the Apocalypse Bunker System, beginning with nothing but a welding torch and a modified harvester, and breaks ground on Dusk Farm. While the rest of humanity stumbles toward extinction, he grows anti-toxin wheat inside bulletproof greenhouses and eats hotpot for dinner.Leon stockpiles supplies, raises walls, and draws in the talented and the desperate, upgrading his farm step by step into a steel fortress bristling with heavy weapons and piloted Titan mechs. The wasteland treats him as an anomaly. He treats the wasteland as farmland.

When Sophie Reed empties her every resource into a spirit summoning ritual, the universe sends her Leo Hayes,  a cheerful young man in catastrophically loud floral shorts. The crowd loses it. Lowest-grade Contract Spirit in history, they say. What nobody knows is that Leo carries the Menace System, a power that feeds on breaking rules, shattering expectations, and generally refusing to behave. The more absurd, the more impossible, the more wrong he is by every known standard,  the stronger he becomes. He slaps the original summoner clean out of the picture, casually evolves into the Divine-grade Contract Spirit World Heartthrob, and grins at a world full of rules he was apparently born to demolish.
