Sandi Leach thinks she will live a comfortable and happy life after marrying into a wealthy family. However, soon after their marriage, her husband Nat Goddard reveals his twisted nature. Having witnessed his mother's death at the hands of his abusive father during childhood, Nat is psychologically disturbed and severely lacking in the ability to love.
