At birth, Aeolus was cursed by a witch, doomed to bring misfortune to everyone close to him. As tragedy struck again and again, the family who once loved him came to see him as nothing but a curse. Then, during a hunting accident, Aeolus sacrificed himself to protect his younger brother, Lycus, taking the Goddess’s divine punishment in his place. But his family mistook his sacrifice for cowardice, believing he had simply run away to escape punishment. It wasn’t until his body was found and the truth finally came to light that they realized—the child they had rejected and despised had spent his final moments protecting the very family that had turned their backs on him.
