Heart surgeon Mervin Charles dies suddenly and is reborn as a 7-year-old homeless boy who then names himself Merlin Charles. He's rescued at a shopping mall by his former colleague Camille Reynolds,and he discovers her phone wallpaper is actually his photo. News reports reveal that Mervin has become a vegetative patient.
