The Lord's Little Animal Whisperer

Winnie was born with the ability to understand animals, but her cruel aunt and uncle abuse her and even accuse her of witchcraft. Just as she is about to be burned at the stake, Edgar, heir to House Hereward, rescues her—unaware that she is actually his long-lost daughter. After their reunion, Winnie uses her gift to uncover plots, protect her family, and, with the help of her animal friends, rescue her mother and finally bring the whole family back together.
