A Crown Built on Betrayal - Episode 67

Introduction: Sophia Lane transmigrates from the modern world into ancient times, where she helps the Seventh Prince, Adrian Kingsley, ascend the throne. As they weather countless hardships together, they fall in love, and Adrian vows that she will be the only woman in his life. But with his dying breath, the former Crown Prince Henry Kingsley plants a malicious seed of doubt in Adrian's mind. Taking advantage of his growing suspicions, Evelyn Jermyn meticulously schemes to frame Sophia. In the end, Adrian himself becomes the one to cast her into hell. He has her hung from the city walls, flogged eighty times, her tendons severed, and thrown into the imperial prison before sentencing her to death. At the moment of her execution, Sophia sets off the signal firework Adrian once gave her, allowing her soul to leave the ancient world and return to modern times. Adrian rushes to the execution platform, only to collapse in despair as he cradles Sophia's headless body in his arms. From that day on, they remain worlds apart, separated by a thousand years, never to meet again.
