My Husband Shot Our Daughter to Save My Sister - Episode 15

Introduction: "Grant Hall, lead sniper of a federal counterterrorism task force, shoots his daughter Lily three times during a hostage rescue to protect his wife’s older sister, Vanessa. Lily survives but loses her right hand and left leg. When his wife, Erin Bennett, confronts him, he cites duty and a debt of gratitude. Two weeks later, Grant, Vanessa, and Erin’s mother continue blaming Erin at the hospital. She demands a divorce. While Erin cares for Lily alone, Grant revokes payment authorization for Lily’s hospital room for Vanessa’s son Oliver’s sake and allows Vanessa to hurt Lily. Erin asks her old acquaintance Julian to help arrange a hospital transfer, divorce, and new job. After Oliver bullies a classmate, the victim’s grandfather takes him hostage. Grant’s shot grazes Erin, confirming his favoritism again. Later, he uses an outing with Lily to force Erin to apologize to Vanessa, leaving mother and daughter hurt once more. When a bomb is found in their car, Grant forces Lily to take Oliver’s dangerous seat. Erin breaks free, rescues Lily, and jumps into the river, where Julian saves them. Grant searches desperately, believing them lost. By the time he learns they are safe, the divorce decree has arrived. Erin’s diary reveals years of neglect. He also discovers Vanessa planned the first kidnapping and finally exposes her and Oliver’s wrongdoing. Erin joins Julian’s bionic rehabilitation technology company and helps Lily adapt to prosthetics, refusing to become a prize for two men to fight over. She moves on despite Grant’s and her mother’s apologies. Three years later, mother and daughter attend a bionics symposium in Zurich and encounter Grant on security duty. During a sudden attack, he helps them escape and dies shielding Lily from a grenade. At his funeral, Erin stays behind alone to say her final goodbye."
