The Burden and Last Fae King - Episode 44

Introduction: Serena Weir was born into one of the most powerful magical families, yet because she can only use the lowest-ranked F-class mental magic and has long struggled with a weak, overweight body, she has become the laughingstock of Crownspire Academy. After suffering a humiliating defeat in a public trial, she discovers that her longtime boyfriend, Cassian, has been betraying her with her half-sister, Lyla. To make matters worse, her father gives her an ultimatum: graduate in the academy's Top 10, or lose her right to inherit the family. Desperate to change her fate, Serena searches through the ancient books left behind by her late mother for a way to become stronger. Instead, she accidentally awakens Arix, the last Fae King, who has been asleep for centuries. Arix soon discovers the truth: Serena was never weak. Her immense magical power, along with her true physical condition, has been locked away by three ancient seals. When the first seal is broken, Serena begins to reclaim her real strength and awakens an extraordinarily powerful form of mental magic. To uncover who sealed her powers and stole the life she should have had, Serena must continue pretending to be the useless F-class student everyone looks down on. With Arix secretly training her, she begins her rise from the bottom of the academy rankings toward the very top. Meanwhile, the arrogant and dangerous ancient king, who must draw magic from Serena to sustain his power, slowly transforms from a reluctant partner in a simple bargain into her most dangerous and indispensable ally. But as Serena gets closer to the truth, she discovers that the conspiracy that ruined her life reaches far beyond her own family and is connected to the forbidden magic that destroyed the Fae centuries ago. The girl once dismissed as the weakest student in the entire academy may now be the only one capable of stopping the coming disaster.
