The Last Train Out - Episode 32

Introduction: Twenty-seven days into the zombie apocalypse, the city was falling. Only one final train remained to cross the deadly wasteland to the Northern Safe Zone. Those two VIP evacuation tickets were bought with my own blood and tears after three brutal years as a frontline healer. But right before departure, my fiancé, Evan, crossed out my name on the passenger list and gave my seat to his precious stepsister, Zoe, and her kid. He lovingly adjusted her oxygen mask and told everyone on board: "Ollie has healing powers—she won't die even if we leave her behind. I'll send a rescue team for her later."My entire family called me cold-hearted for not giving up my seat willingly. I didn't cry. I didn't beg. I just tossed my engagement ring straight into the trash and joined the military's frontline vanguard. They thought they had successfully escaped. What they didn't know was that the train's damaged engine had fatally stalled, and the only thing that could ever restore power to the train was the mutating Light Energy inside my veins!Miles into the wasteland, the train completely died. Bloodthirsty hordes tore through the doors, dragging passengers into a nightmare. Just as Evan and Zoe were about to be ripped apart, a military convoy slammed onto the tracks. I vaulted aboard beside Kyle, the supreme commander of the Northern Zone. Evan dropped to his knees, begging for my forgiveness and crying that he still loved me. I sneered and flashed my bare hand: "Get over yourself. We’re done."I recharged the train, and the next second, a blinding, sun-like holy light exploded from my body. Where my light touched, the impossible happened—the zombies stopped rotting, healed before everyone's eyes, and turned completely back into living humans! The entire train fell to their knees, weeping and hailing me as their ultimate Savior. As for my backstabbing ex and his deceitful sister? A lifetime in a radiation labor camp was waiting just for them.
