Introduction: Legendary New York lawyer Arthur Vance was entrusted by Richard, a Wall Street tycoon and childhood friend, to defend Richard's son Eric. However, Arthur discovered that Eric was the serial rapist who had brutalized and murdered his own daughter. He turned against Eric in court and, with irrefutable evidence, secured a death sentence for him. Grieving the loss of his son, Richard conspired with lawyers to fabricate evidence and frame Arthur, ruining his reputation. Fortunately, with the help of his assistant Amy and his adversary Professor Grant, Arthur was able to clear his name. Afterwards, Arthur continued to fight against Richard's insurance crime syndicate. Richard's plot to kidnap Arthur's daughter and force him to drop the case also fell through. In the end, Richard was convicted on multiple charges and sentenced to life imprisonment, while Arthur upheld his belief in equality before the law.
