They Sold Me Back to the Mafia - Episode 20

Introduction: Twenty-three-year-old Ines escapes from the Visconti mafia family that raised her for nineteen years, hoping only to find her biological parents and live an ordinary life. Eight months later, however, her biological parents hand her over to a debt broker to pay off her younger brother’s underground gambling debt, only for the car to take her straight back to the Visconti estate she fought so hard to escape. Once her true identity is revealed, her adoptive parents are ready to take revenge on her behalf, but Ines insists that her biological family face legal consequences instead. When she finds herself trapped once again by the Viscontis’ love and control, she decides to stop running. Pretending to return to the family, she secretly works with Naomi, a young woman forced to work for the organization, to gather evidence of their crimes. In the end, Ines brings down the criminal family that raised her. She neither returns to the biological family that abandoned her nor accepts a love built on crime and control. For the first time in her life, she truly chooses her own future.
