When I Died, They Began to Love - Episode 13

Introduction: Irene, adopted daughter of the Holy Radiance Court, was rescued from the ruins and cherished as a princess for eighteen years. The day the "real" princess Vivian returned, she lost everything: her title, her room, her family's love, and even Luna, the unicorn who was her last companion, murdered by the impostor's schemes. What no one knows is that with the giants' wrath about to consume the kingdom, the girl they all curse as a traitor is the very volunteer who walked onto the sacrificial altar. She gave her own eyes to her paralyzed sister, endured the covenant brand devouring her body, and went alone to her death on the night of her coming-of-age ceremony, leaving only four words behind: eighteen years, we're even. As the Eternal Flame swallows her fragile figure, her family finally tears the city apart searching for her. Only after her death do they begin to love her — but a shattered heart can never be pieced back together.
