The Vow That Withered

Lumberjack Solon accidentally breaks the seal of the Night Elf King and gains three wishes to reshape his destiny. On his deathbed, he strikes a pact sealed by a betrothal, begging the Elf King to protect his granddaughter and the kingdom for six years. The princess firmly believes in light and scorns shadow, regarding the silent guardianship as a humble dependency. It is only when the betrothal bond burns away and enemy troops march to the gates that she realizes what she has pushed away is the kingdom’s last line of defense.
