Introduction: Calvin, an office drone, wins a trip but ends up in dangerous waters, trapped in the Elder Gods' Game—losers are erased. He awakens the Mermaid Affinity System, gaining an edge to survive deadly games. On the cruise, survivors split into factions. One of Calvin's own allies plots to kill others for rebirth. Using his mind-reading ability, Calvin gathers help, refuses to join the massacre, and unites everyone to defeat the villains. With the old captain gone, Calvin leads the remaining survivors into another perilous voyage.
