I was the stand-in bride he never claimed, the woman who quietly ran his empire while he locked my ring in a safe. Then came the avalanche. He counted heads on the helicopter, looked right at the house where I was trapped, and turned away to hold my sister. I froze to death, pregnant with his child. Now I'm back on the day I found out I was pregnant. This time, I slipped divorce papers between his documents, and he signed without reading. On the day he married my sister, black envelopes rained down on the chapel like snow, and I flew away.He tore New York apart to find me.But the forgotten Donna was gone.
