Heart surgeon Mervin Charles dies suddenly and is reborn as a 7-year-old homeless boy who then names himself Merlin Charles. He's rescued at a shopping mall by his former colleague Camille Reynolds,and he discovers her phone wallpaper is actually his photo. News reports reveal that Mervin has become a vegetative patient. To get closer to his original body, Merlin lies about being an orphan and gets adopted by Camille. Through various medical incidents together,both their perspectives gradually change. Mervin finally understands that being a doctor isn't about self-salvation, but about healing and saving others.
