Fred Wood, a retired general, takes a job as a construction site security guard while searching for Mona's real mother. When Mona uncovers a group of thieves on the site, she inadvertently wakes Fred, who scolds her in return. However, due to a series of misunderstandings, Laurent mistakenly believes Joanna is his childhood friend Joanie.
